Vow renewals

We wedding planners always tend to say that you only get married once! The reality is quite diferent as the rate for divorces are sky rocketing 🚀

But lets not fall to depressing and dark questions and thoughts! The truth is that there is another and way more romantic way of having another wedding - Vow renewals ❤️

Mostly an American tradition, vow renewals are spreading to the continent of Europa. Loving couples who have been married for some years are embrasing this foreign tradition, as a means to celebrate their love to each other one more time.

And why not? Is love not the most important thing to celebrate? Then why only do it once?

We love both weddings and vow renewals because we love love ❤️

Find inspiration to your vow renewals here and have a nice weekend with your loved once 🙏🏻

The artsy airbrushed wedding dress

In an earlier blog post I have already challenged the thought that a wedding dress is supposed to be white! At the NY Bridal Fashion Week in April designer Naeem Khan showed a wide variety of colored wedding gowns. The colorful bridal decor trend has flourished, and now we can add a new trend to this lovely wedding spectre - the airbrushed wedding dress!

When the artist Taylor Ann got married this summer, it was in a one of a kind artwork of a dress. Bought in a regular wedding dress shop she had taken this gorgeous but quite regular wedding dress and airbrushed it with bright colors. By that she created a very original and brand new wedding dress look.

At the first glans you might think dip died - it is not! You can learn more about how to airbrush a wedding dress here

The reason why I personally admire this bold choice so much, is that she used the colors in her dress as a guide line to the general wedding theme and decor. Even her hair was in the color scheme, and I simply love that!

And then she topped it off with a pair of big boots - at a forest wedding - ingenious!!!

A wide palette of colors was used, and still nothing seamed uncoordinated or messy!

Off cause it goes without saying that this is not for everybody, but for the brave, untraditional and colorful bride this might just be the solution. For more information and inspiration you can always check the two links below!

Now enjoy the rest of these amazing wedding photos, sug in the artsy inspiration and enjoy the rest of you weekend 💜💙❤️💛💚

Bonfire Wedding

Yesterday we Danes celebrated St.Hans evening with barbecue, bonfires, singing and rosè wine. Standing in the warmth of the fire with family and friends watching the sun go down over the sea, was one of the most calm and pleasing moments of my 2016. The simplicity of the concept was so pure and unspoiled, and it gave way to a feeling of total happiness. Peace, nature and quietness consumed us as we stood there watching the flames.

It was the essence of romance - the perfect wedding setting. Getting married on the beach by the fire while the sun sets, only joined by those closest to you - I would definitely say "I Do".

I am inspired by this concept, but when I started searching on "bonfire weddings" almost nothing came up. This is appearently not a normal theme for a wedding, eventhough most of us have attended a bonfire party.

Lets brainstorm the idea - When I am thinking bonfire wedding, I see barbecue, rosè wine, beach setting, blankets, marshmallows, acoustic guitar, community singing, natural flower decorations, long tables with benches, and torches surrounding it all.

Do you have any bonfire wedding visions?

Beneath you will find some pictures to illustrate my vision of the perfect bonfire wedding.

Enjoy and have a nice weekend 😘
